Brooks Brothers to Open Flagship Store at 1055 Wall Street in La Jolla

La Jolla, CA (May 14, 2008) – Madison Marquette announced today that Brooks Brothers will occupy nearly 14,000 square-feet on the first floor of the 1055 Wall Street building in the Village of La Jolla. The new flagship location will be Brooks Brothers’ first in the region.

“Brooks Brothers is one of the nation’s premier fashion retailers and this new flagship store will be an exciting addition to the eclectic mix of street retail in the Village of La Jolla,” said Kelley Maher, Vice President of Leasing of Madison Marquette.

The new store is slated to open in fall 2008. Madison Marquette owns the 46,500 square foot building located in one of Southern California’s most affluent communities. Nearby retailers include Polo Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Tommy Bahama and Victoria’s Secret. Madison Marquette is actively seeking additional tenants for the building’s remaining space.

Madison Marquette also secured a lease with Brooks Brothers for their new Brooks Brothers Country Club concept store at Garden Walk in Anaheim, California. Garden Walk is a premier mixed-use project scheduled to open soon with 439,000 square feet of retail. Madison Marquette leases the project on behalf of the developer.
