Patrick Walmsley Joins Madison Marquette as Managing Director
WASHINGTON, DC (October 5, 2009) - Madison Marquette announced today the appointment of Patrick W. Walmsley as Managing Director."Patrick is an extraordinarily talented real estate executive with a proven track record of success," said Amer Hammour, Chief Executive Officer of Madison Marquette. Mr. Walmsley has overseen approximately $15 billion in property transactions over his 17-year career in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Madison Marquette, he served as a Managing Director at Eastdil Secured where he was responsible for marketing and executing retail property transactions, including the $2.75 billion First Washington Portfolio sale, the $234 million recapitalization of Madison Marquette-owned Bay Street in Emeryville, California, the $345 million joint venture and related mezzanine and senior construction financings for Park Lane in Dallas, the $170 million sale of Whalers Village in Maui, Hawaii and the $163 million sale of Burbank Empire Center in Burbank, California.
