RAMCO-GERSHENSON PROPERTIES TRUST RETAINS MADISON MARQUETTE TO LEASE THREE FLORIDA RETAIL DESTINATIONS

Fort Lauderdale, Florida (April 2, 2009) – Madison Marquette announced today that Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust of Farmington Hills, Michigan has retained Madison Marquette to lease three of its Florida retail properties along the western coast, including Naples Towne Centre in Naples, Southbay Shopping Center in Osprey and Pelican Plaza in Sarasota.

“We are delighted that Ramco-Gershenson has selected Madison Marquette to lease these properties,” said Chuck Taylor, Senior Vice President of Leasing of Madison Marquette. “Our Florida portfolio is rapidly growing and we remain especially strong along the west coast.”

Naples Towne Centre is a 170,000 square foot open air center anchored by a Beall’s Department Store and a Save-A-Lot. The center is located along western Florida’s main artery, US Highway 41, and is one of South Naples’ largest shopping destinations.

Pelican Plaza is a 105,000 square foot open air center situated directly across from Sarasota Square Mall, one of the of area’s most popular enclosed retail centers. It enjoys high visibility.

Southbay Shopping Center is the only community center in the affluent city of Osprey, which is midway between Sarasota and Venice. The center is well positioned along US Highway 41 and offers nearly 100,000 square feet of retail, including a Beall’s Coastal Home store.

All three properties were previously leased internally by Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust.
